A Symphony of Connection Begins –

On Sunday, March 1, 2025, a quiet yet powerful beginning took place. Global Symphony for United World (GSUW) was officially inaugurated, marking the birth of a locally rooted initiative with a global heart. Founded in November 2024 by Slocan Valley artists Frantisek Strouhal and Chantal Robert, GSUW arises from a simple and radical vision: that art, in all its forms, can become a shared language—one that dissolves borders, softens divisions, and guides us toward collective healing and growth.

“This evening was the opening of a door,” the founders reflected, “an invitation into a new adventure.”

As CEO and President, Strouhal and Robert are guided by a deep trust in the transformative power of art, mindfulness, and compassion. From this trust, a movement was born—one that gently resists the heaviness of our times by offering spaces of presence, beauty, and human connection. Through GSUW, they seek to cultivate a world anchored in love, mutual respect, and empathy.

An Ethereal and Grounded Gathering

The inauguration unfolded as an intimate gathering of community, illuminated by candlelight and accompanied by the acoustic voice of singer-songwriter Philip Seagram. His music flowed through the room, weaving seamlessly with Strouhal’s visual art and the quiet warmth of the home. Guests were held in an atmosphere that felt both ethereal and grounded—an unspoken reminder of what becomes possible when people gather with open hearts. What lingered most deeply, Frantisek shared, was “the sense of closeness and connection that permeated the evening,” a vibrant harmony across generations.

The First Note in a Larger Symphony

This inaugural evening was more than a celebration; it was a first note in a larger symphony. A gentle promise of the work to come—led by a devoted team committed to supporting inner awakening and personal transformation. At the heart of Global Symphony for United World lives a guiding belief: that mindfulness is a gateway to a renewed humanity, one capable o

Today’s world of advanced technology brings our attention to our world in crisis. We are living in times of gross inequality and uncertainties. The inundation of information, opinions and assumptions dulls our senses and overwhelms us to a state of despair and hopelessness that creates a divide amongst the masses. The divide creates anxiety, fear and a sense of powerlessness to make an impact or difference. One may feel at a loss to find any resolution for healing. Global Symphony for a United World shines a positive light on how acts of kindness, no matter how seemingly small, have profound, magical, lasting, far-reaching impacts on individuals, communities, countries and our world. By keeping our hearts open to receiving and giving gifts of kindness, we can create a sense of unity, hope, and renewed faith that we are not alone.

I enjoyed the pleasant and peaceful ambiance with lovely guitar music and delicious treats. And especially being surrounded by Frantisek’s beautiful award winning art all around.

A successful soirée for a worthwhile and much needed initiative for harmony and peace in this world.

We enjoyed ourselves at the home of Chantal & Frantisek…It felt like an enchanted evening…The candlelight glowing, casting shadows and making the room feel so warm and inviting…Delicious appies while the guitarist played softly in the background. It’s always so interesting to hear from Frantisek about his work…truly a lost art that he continues to bring to life.

Thank you for including us!
