Art & Harmony
About GSUW
At Global Symphony for a United World, we are deeply inspired by the artistic philosophy of our founders, Frantisek Strouhal and Chantal Robert, whose concept of “Art Embracing Awareness” guides our mission. Their work delves into existential themes, exploring the harmony between the spiritual and physical realms. Both Frantisek’s art and their inspirational writings serve as a medium for contemplation and peace, inviting interaction and personal reflection. This philosophy underscores our commitment to using art as a transformative tool for emotional healing and personal growth. By integrating this approach, we aim to create spaces where individuals can connect with their inner selves, and with others, helping foster a compassionate and inclusive society.
Through exhibitions, workshops, therapeutic sessions, and educational resources, we aim to provide opportunities for creative expression that align with Strouhal’s and Robert’s vision of art as a bridge between the spiritual and physical worlds. Our programs are designed to evoke emotions and inspire self-discovery, helping participants navigate life’s challenges and find inner peace. In essence, Global Symphony for a United World exists to embody and extend Strouhal’s and Robert’s belief in the power of art and mindfulness to awaken awareness, transform lives, and unite communities. We strive to be a sanctuary where creativity and community converge, offering hope and harmony to those in need.
The Team Behind GSUW
At the heart of GSUW are individuals dedicated to fostering a better world through art. Together, Frantisek Strouhal, Chantal M. Robert bring Frantisek’s philosophy of “Art Embracing Awareness” to life, creating spaces of healing, growth, and connection.
Who We Are
We are the founders of Global Symphony for a United World. For many decades, we have embarked on a spiritual journey devoted to understanding ourselves and our global interconnection. Through this journey, we have gained insights into the human condition, and felt it was vital to share our knowledge with all our brothers and sisters, hoping to restore our human family into a unified whole. Through visual art and motivational writings, we aim to assist those seeking transformation and healing. Collectively, we have the power to heal and transform ourselves. Together, we can reshape the world into a better place for everyone to live and prosper.

A Vision Takes Flight
Starting a new non-profit is much like planting a seed. It begins with a vision, a dream, and the desire to make a difference. For the Global Symphony for a United World (GSUW), that dream was born from the minds and hearts of its founders, Frantisek Strouhal and Chantal Robert. Their shared belief in the transformative power of art to heal, inspire, and connect gave life to a mission that seeks to harmonize humanity through creativity.
GSUW is more than just a charity; it is a sanctuary for those seeking emotional healing, personal growth, and unity. It is a symphony of collaboration and passion, orchestrated by a team of dedicated individuals who bring their unique talents and perspectives to the table. Let us meet the visionaries behind this initiative and explore their journey of bringing this dream to life.
The GSUW Visionaries
Frantisek Strouhal
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Born in Czechoslovakia, Frantisek’s childhood was deeply influenced by his grandfather and uncle, both of them artists.
The 1968 revolution and resultant Soviet invasion turned his life upside down. His ambitions as a poet, writer and photographer were crushed under the weight of a social structure rooted in communist repression. Sports afforded an opportunity to skirt the worst of the new, Soviet-imposed system. Frantisek’s early adulthood was dominated by soccer — both as a full-timer player and coach — all the while nurturing his love of the arts and literature.
When he eventually immigrated to Canada, Frantisek became a full-time poet and visual artist. After experimenting and mastering Bromoil, a 19th-century alternative photographic approach, he was introduced to oil printing, a process he both reinvented and extended.
At the same time, he went through deep spiritual transformation, studying and becoming a teacher of the Course in Miracles. As his self-knowledge deepened, he was led to the study of the contemplative dimension of life, influenced by the writings and teachings of many spiritual teachers and mystics. Through this journey, Frantisek gained insights into the human condition, insights he believes it is vital to share, in the hopes of restoring the human family into a unified whole.
Chantal Robert
Co-Founder & Director
Chantal comes from a family that traces its roots to both France and Tunisia. She immigrated with her family to Quebec at an early age, where she studied humanities and art at the prestigious Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf, in Montreal.
Taking an unconventional path in life, she found herself living off the land in her young adult life on Canada’s west coast, where she started a family of her own, mothering four daughters.
Studying spirituality, learning to meditate, and living in harmony with nature were key motivators in those early days for Chantal. That devotion to the spiritual path remained as she and Frantisek met and began to write a new chapter of their lives, together. She has also become an indispensable part of Mirage Studio, embracing a role as the artist’s assistant and manager.
Before establishing their art enterprise, Mirage Studio (which she manages), Chantal worked for years as a highly skilled health professional, adept in both holistic alternative healing and Western medicine. Her years of spiritual practice together with a life lived close to nature, has led her to the study of spiritual psychology, and deepened her knowledge of the human condition.
Cheryl Price
Director
A highly experienced Trauma Therapist and Art Therapy Clinician, Cheryl brings extensive expertise to her multifaceted role. She serves as an instructor with two art therapy schools, the Kutenai Art Therapy Institute (KATI) and the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy (CiiAT), and also works as an Art Therapy Clinician for the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), facilitating group therapy for parents.
Cheryl has navigated her own transformative journey of healing from complex trauma, understanding from the inside out the profoundly positive impact the creative arts can offer. Her practice is grounded in core values of compassion, respect, and kindness, believing that every individual needs and deserves to be seen, heard, and validated. In her view, empowerment and genuine connection are fundamental to the healing process.
Her passion lies in working with marginalised populations, survivors of abuse, and those living with mental health diagnoses. Deeply resonating with their heartfulness and compassion, she feels excited and honoured to work alongside Chantal and Frantisek in their shared mission to bring the healing power of creativity to a hurting world.

The Excitement of Building Something New
Starting a new non-profit is an exhilarating journey. It is a blend of hope, hard work, and the unyielding belief that change is possible. For the GSUW team, the organization’s early days were filled with brainstorming sessions, creative exploration, and the thrill of shaping a vision into reality. Each member brought their unique perspective, contributing to a collaborative environment where ideas flourished and dreams took shape.
Unity through Love, Kindness & Compassion
Founders Frantisek Strouhal and Chantal Robert launched GSUW to inspire global unity, through love, kindness, and compassion.
In a world where division often overshadows connection, the founders of GSUW have launched a transformative non-profit organization, dedicated to uniting humanity through the power of love, kindness, and compassion. GSUW aims to inspire individuals to nurture their inner selves, build stronger relationships, and foster a more harmonious global community.
GSUW is driven by the belief that personal growth and mindfulness are key to creating a more unified, peaceful world. Through spiritual education, guided meditations, yoga, art, and community programs, the organization intends to help individuals connect with their inner selves while contributing to the collective well-being of humanity.
The GSUW mission is simple but powerful:
“When individuals grow in love, compassion, and self-awareness, they naturally extend that energy to their families, communities, and the world.”
Founded by Frantisek Strouhal and Chantal Robert, GSUW was born from a shared passion for fostering unity and spiritual growth. Having experienced firsthand the transformative power of art, mindfulness, and compassion, the founders felt compelled to create a platform to extend these benefits to a global audience.
“We realized that the more we nurtured our minds, bodies, and spirits, the more connected we felt to others,” shared Frantisek and Chantal. “We wanted to create a space where people could come together, support one another, and experience the profound impact of unity on a personal and global scale.”
GSUW plans to offer a variety of programs designed to cultivate mindfulness and personal development, including:
- Yoga and Guided Meditations: Group sessions that foster inner peace and collective consciousness.
- Art Exhibitions: Celebrating the unifying power of art, fostering empathy, connection, and cultural understanding.
- Art Therapy: Guided sessions that use creative expression as a tool for emotional healing and self-discovery.
- Community Events: Interactive gatherings that bring people together to practice kindness and compassion in action.
GSUW invites individuals, community leaders, and wellness practitioners to join our mission. Whether attending an event, contributing to programs, or partnering as a yoga instructor or art therapist, there are many ways to get involved.
“At GSUW, we believe that by nurturing our inner selves, we can create ripples of love and compassion that extend far beyond us,” said Frantisek Strouhal. “Together, we can build a more peaceful, unified world.”
