Embraced with Compassion –

Healing involves addressing our own wounds so that the ability to heal can be passed on. It is about being anchored in love. Healing requires not only the bravery to give love but also to receive it. It calls for the courage to seek happiness, not just for others, but for ourselves too.

Embracing Suffering: The First Step

This process involves examining our bodies as vessels of accumulated traumas and working through these by developing the ability to recognise and remain present with our suffering. To achieve healing, it is essential to let our awareness merge with and embrace the suffering and discomfort that we have often tried to avoid.

Suffering cannot simply be medicated away; instead, we need to accept it, thereby forming a new connection with the experience. It’s important to recognise that there is an aspect we must come to terms with.

This represents the true essence of our experience, and by finally getting in touch with it, we reach a state of wholeness.

Healing is a Movement, Not a Destination

Additionally, Healing requires movement and effort towards becoming whole. It is not a fixed destination, but an ongoing journey. It encompasses the essential, everyday task of remaining connected with our own pain and limitations.

However, healing isn’t the same as forgiveness, though it often follows. It involves recognising our injuries and becoming familiar with our own suffering. Healing means embracing our pain, as love compels us to engage with it rather than shying away from the discomfort.

Creating Space for Our Wounds

Furthermore, healing requires creating a space for our wounds, allowing them to soften our hearts to the truth that we are not the only ones feeling pain, loneliness, anger, or frustration. We must also let go of the habitual hostility that often marks our avoidance of trauma or any form of uneasiness.

Our aim is to make peace with our pain, establishing a deep connection as a method to cease the torment of persistently trying to evade it. By opening our hearts to our own suffering, we can realise that everyone around us carries similar burdens.

The Person We Aspired to Become

It seems we have finally realised that, in some way, we have evolved into the person we always aspired to become. This realisation influences the choices we make. A powerful love rouses us each day, urging us to share our stories and affirm our presence without apology. It grants us the capacity to cherish moments of silence, solitude, and grief when they are most essential. This is the essence of what we describe as healing.

May all creatures, human or otherwise, be acknowledged, embraced with compassion, and cherished deeply.

Let us envision a world where we collectively find the courage to yield to the profound journey of healing, to let go of past burdens and embrace the possibility of renewal. In our shared humanity, we strive for a future where understanding and empathy are the norms, rather than the exceptions.

This path of healing is not just a personal journey but a communal one, where each step forward is taken together, supporting one another through kindness and love. May we all, one day, find peace and comfort in the gentle release of being rejuvenated and whole.
