Renee Phillips – Director and Curator of Manhattan Arts International and founder of The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS initiative – has dedicated her career to promoting artists whose work uplifts humanity. She is a leading voice in the international art community, helping artists share their vision and purpose.
In that spirit, she is proud to highlight the remarkable artistry and compassion of Frantisek Strouhal with the following feature:
“Frantisek Strouhal is an esteemed visual artist, poet and humanitarian based in the serene West Kootenay region, in British Columbia. He is world renowned for his innovative mixed-media artworks “Art Embracing Awareness” which he creates with a holistic and intuitive vision.
Frantisek depicts universally perceived emotions in a complex, but respectfully sagacious manner. Every artwork is genuinely inspired by personal experiences. When he creates, he submerges himself in his inspired encounters and depicts what he feels, not just what he thinks.
In recognition and appreciation for their contributions to humanity Frantisek and his wife Chantal Robert have been inducted into The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS “World Changers” series.

Out of Hiding
Now that I finally stepped out of hiding,
my courage is emerging from the murky waters of fear.Now that I released and suspended my judgments
in the mist, my life is free to embrace my soul.Now that I finally let go of what I assumed
was significant, I’m amazed by miracles
appearing at every step of the way.How we got here is irrelevant
and where we are heading to is simply
something for the mind to marvel at.I will greet you there, in the mansion
that adversity opens—the miraculous
opening, the truth of who we are.
