Individual evolution

Regardless of how long we’re on the spiritual path, we’ll always experience the human condition. We enter the evolutionary journey at the moment of our birth, bound by the conditioning of the culture we find ourselves in, born into a family that has faced hardships, and under circumstances we cannot influence. People who believe their childhood was filled with happiness still struggle with life’s uncertainties and fulfilling their human potential.
When we find ourselves frustrated or upset, it is often a reflection of something stirring within our subconscious mind. The following response can either be a conscious decision or an unconscious reaction that we may later regret. To heal, transform, and reach our full human potential, we must first understand our conditioning.
Currently, the predominant focus of both individuals and corporations appears to be centred around survival. In this realm of consciousness, we see a resistance to progress both on an individual and societal level. This resistance is particularly evident in the global political landscape, where nationalism often takes precedence over personal and collective growth. The prevailing belief seems to be that happiness stems from security and military strength, regardless of the majority of humanity experiencing hunger, deprivation, and limited chances for growth and healing. Failing to acknowledge this reality hinders spiritual development on a personal level and blocks collective progress. Recognizing and understanding this crucial concept is vital for both individual evolution and global awareness.
Our intention is to understand the reasons behind our need for healing and pinpoint the areas requiring change. The main objective is to establish a strong foundational understanding for engaging in reflective prayer and embarking on a spiritual journey tailored to our modern age. We are all invited on this journey not only for personal growth but also for the advancement of the entire human community.
Freedom and authenticity
Have you ever tried living with yourself? To be fully conscious of the meaning of life?
What a challenge for each of us, to be aware of every thought, every feeling, without suppressing or controlling it, just witnessing our own biases and preconceptions as they flow past. In that watching there is great freedom.
Psychological freedom and authenticity come about only when we are aware of our own internal workings when we watch what we are thinking.
In the transformation from thinking to awareness, an intelligence far superior to the ego’s cleverness begins to take effect in our lives.

Individual Evolution
Derwyn Costinak, in Session 11 of his L.U.E. Course, observes that some curious similarities exist between Theories published w/r/t the Science of Developmental Psychology -- Brain & Behaviour Evolutionary Journeys -- and Theories published w/r/t the Evolution of Human Spirituality -- Soul & Faith Journeys.
Isn't it refreshing when academic researchers from Science & Spirituality start an approach to unity?
The word 'Evolution' carries a lot of logical and emotional baggage.
